Antonio,

I couldn't agree with you, more. I know from my own experiences as well as hearing from others, KeyMail has always been buggy and I watch these upgrades and see that nothing worth while is ever changed in regards to KeyMail. I know if I were working and had to use a portable machine that is dependable, it definitely couldn't be running KeyMail.

Anyway, here's wishing you the best of luck in resolving your KeyMail issue.

Donna,
yes I am sure my settings are OK, and I changed them in every
possible
cobmination.
When I work with a wire connection though there is no point in
covering the
infrared port.
It surprises me that people at Humanware are not going to deal
with this
bug.
Best
Antonio

Hi Antonio,

I know this is going to sound weird but here goes.

Sometimes when I'm going through the receiving error "10060"
messages, I
cover up the infrared port with my fingers, and something seems
to catch
and I am then able to stay connected. I noticed this little
trick about a
month ago.

You are sure that your pop and smtp settings are correct?

Hi Donna,
In the past I have been able to receive even one hujhndred
messages without
braking down. Now I receive always the same response: that is no
new emails.
Sometime I get 1060 error, but the line remains connected.
It is a wire line, but the same thing happens with my mobile
(mode on
infrared port).
This is all
Antonio

Antonio,

That error "10060" means that your machine has disconnected.
Are you ever
able to receive emails with it?

I am able to download some emails and then, it will sit there,
and then I
finally receive the "10060" message. This has happened
regularly since I
started using these machines so, I'm pretty used to it now, kind
of
annoying at times but for now, this will do.

Are you using your machine wirelessly or on dial-up? If its
dial-up, it
could be static in the phone line.
