How does one get to the appendices in the user manual? I go to options menu (function with O) type U and am asked for t for table of contents or i for index. Neither the table of contents or the index have the appendices listed. I have a MPower BN QT running KS7.2. Also, the table of contents does not show the heading/chapter numbers. How can I get to a user manual that shows the actual section numbers. They are shown when selecting topics from the index or table of contents but not in the table of contents itself.

Thanks,

Christy,
The Appendices contains four Appendices:
A. User Settings
B. Information about BkShare.org
C. Troubleshooting BN
D. Computer braille reference list

The previous (prev) thumb key is the left-most thumb key. To the right is
the back, advance, and next thumb keys. These are used for navigating using
brialle display.

Subject: [Braillenote] appendecies and thumbkeys

Hello,

I have a few questions. When i go to the user manual via the options menu
and arrive at appendecies, it says that it is the appendix submenu but
nothing is there; i am operating Keysoft 7.0. Why would this be? What is
contained in the appendixes?

Secondly, i have a question about the thumbkeys. I've read different parts
of the manual but what is the difference between next and advance and
previous and back?
Sincerely,
Christy Witte

Subject: [Braillenote] Some Happiness and Some Sadness!

Hi Everyone,

First I want to report that I should be receiving KS 7.2 any day now.
Mickey Quenzer, in Tech Support, and Gabe, in Customer Service got
everything straightened out for me! They were wonderful, and I am very
happy! My heartfelt thanks goes out to both of them!

My sadness is because I have an errant dot on my braille display. Sometimes
it's there just fine, and other times it disappears! I've exercised the
dots, and even turned my machine upside down while doing so in case some
little speck of something needed to work its way out. It's dot 1 of cell
13, so when it's not there the word where it is looks really odd! I really
need my BN through the weekend, but if the problem hasn't righted itself by
Monday, my BN may have to travel back to HW for some attention! I'm hoping
and praying that this won't have to happen! As with everyone on this list,
I absolutely hate to be without my BrailleNote!
