Hi All
'Just a quick note to let you know that I'll shortly be leaving
HumanWare
NZ to go on Parental Leave for one year (returning November 5th
2007).
Martin (my husband) and I are having our first baby...gender
unknown (due
on December 1st).
Do not fear...we shall not be Tech Author-less as Kathy Earnshaw
will be
standing in for me as my Temporary Replacement. She will be
starting here
on the 24th of October in order to receive a fortnight of
training before
being left to her own devices (from November 6th.)
I'm very much looking forward to my new role as a mother, but
will no
doubt greatly miss the wonderful HW staff (many of whom are like
a second
family to me) and people like you, our valued customers. Of
course l'll
also miss my work which I've continued to find interesting and
challenges
over the 14 months that I've been a HumanWare employee.
No doubt there's a chance I'll be in communication with you all
over the
next fortnight...
Otherwise, I wish you premature Seasons Greetings and all the
best for the
