Shas,

I think you're using a BN. Others will have to give you the key strokes if not.

Go into the planner and either go directly to a date using the numeral sign, day, numeral sign month; alternatively use the dot 6 chord to advance a day, dot 5-chord for week, to the date you want and press "Enter". Use your advance thumb key to get to the appointment time, press any routing key over that date and you'll notice an underline. Now you can use dots 1,2,3,5,7 to change anything in that appointment.

Hope that helps.

The chapter on the Planner in the Help file is very good and well worth a read. There are just so many useful commands here.

Hi, I didn't miss out on the original discussion but I didn't realise that
there was problems in the planner. I am able to get around menus and I have worked out what format my documents need to be in so I can use the joystick
so I was just hoping that there might be a trick like that to fix the
problem in the planner. Well if there isn't then I will just have to live
with it.

Here's another question about it, once you are in a day how do you go
through the appointments to see them or change them. Yesterday I was trying
to cancel an appointment that I had in the planner that I didn't need
anymore but I couldn't get to it. It was the second appointment I had that
day. If you could help me with this it would be great, I could live with the
rest of the planner navigation problems if I could just work out how to do
this one.

Thanks,
From Shaz.

Well, grin, I'm thinking you won't have much luck with the joystick for now in KeySoft 7.2. For, guess that was a problem someone discovered the first
day 7.2 was released, so you likely just missed that discussion.

As for moving through the planner, guess there are various things one may
try. What I usually do when I can't remember these, and this happens to me
quite often, is to press the space with h to get help. In this case, say
when I'm sitting on Thursday October 19, I press space with h and then arrow
down to review commands and press enter. Then, when reading through those
commands, I am able to find what I need to move around through the calendar
and my appointments.

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem with joystick and planner

Hi, today I had to check it I could make an appointment at work. I have just
upgraded my PK to 7.2 and when I went into the planner I couldn't move
around using the joystick. The appointment was on the first Tuesday in
November and we didn't know what date that was so I couldn't jump straight
to it so I need to move around the calendar. Also I have just noticed that
if I go into a day and try and see what appointments I have in that day I
can't move with the joystick. Is there another way of moving around? Or is
there a way to get the joystick working in the planner? This is going to be
a big pain if I can't get it to work because I brought the PK so I could
carry my calendar around with me everywhere because I have a busy life and I
need to keep track of everything.

Thanks for any help,
From Shaz.
