Yes, KC, we have a router, but that has no bearing, as far as I 
know, on the settings for email.  The settings I use and that I 
sent yesterday for Barbara were the ones given to me by 
earthlink.  They work for dial up, cell phone connection, and 
wireless.
They are not unique to the BN, but are settings chosen by the 
isp, as far as I understand it.
