Hi Again,
When I first described my problem, I said that the alarm that
goes off for me is not connected to any appointments for that
day. It does not happen regularly, and I may have passed all
settings by now. The alarm goes off at an unexpected time and I
check for appointments. There are no appointments for that day.
I have to wonder if I deleted an forgot a recurring appointment
and the alarm lingered.
Secondly, I would like a way to turn off all alarms as when I
ship the unit back through the mail. I hate to have it going off
in transit. Who knows what the person who may be holding it at
the time may think of or do with it. I think that would be a
great option for an update.

OK, so do you know when you wanted that alarm to begin and set
it? If you
do then go to the day in question and cancel that alarm. You'll
be asked
whether to cancel just that occurrence or all occurrences, so you
can say
"Yes" and it should cease.
I hope this is enough for you but write if you're still stuck.

The alarm goes off on sunday morning. I set it myself. Now I
want to rid
myself of it--not to merely cancel it each week.
Thanks.
