Subject: [Braillenote] Bluetooth Printer

Dear BrailleNote List,

I was shopping around for a bluetooth printer and happened to stumble across
a HP PhotoSmart C7100 Series, which was the only bluetooth printer carried
at the store I was shopping at, Office Depot. This particular printer is an
all in one, with the option of reading four different type of cards,
including an SD and CF, it also had the option of putting in a USB memory
stick; the various modes of connecting to a device consisted of ethernet,
USB, wireless, and bluetooth; I was checking out the specs and it looked
just wonderful. I was not sure if this would work with the BrailleNote
however, so I checked out the stores return policy, which was 14 days; I
think I will be able to determine if it will work or not within 14 days. So,
I purchased this pprinter yesterday and I setted it up with the wireless
router, so I now have two laptops printing wirelessly to the printer, two
BrailleNotes printing via bluetooth to this printer, and it also prints from
my phone via bluetooth. It also scans via wireless to the laptops. This
printer gives the option of having a four in one card reader for the laptops
as well. And, of course with all of this being available for the printer,
without a doubt the printer is not going to be that cheap. The cost is $350
on sale, this is well worth it in my opinion with all it is able to offer,
but still rather pricy.

Kevin
