Thanks, Rhonda, for this. When I went through these steps, there is no
manual.

The only place that I can remotely find the manual is in the system disk,
but not in the flash disk.

I cannot figure out what is going on with my translation. I'll
try it once more.

  1. From the Main Menu, press U for the Utilities Menu, then A
for "Application Program".
  2. At the "Run program from which drive?" prompt, press F to
select the Flash Disk.
  3. At the "Run program from which directory?" prompt, press
Space with T to get into "Folder List" mode. Once in "Folder
List" mode, type "manual" (without the quotes). Alternatively,
you can hit Space once to get into a list of folders on the Flash
Disk, press M to get to the folders starting with that letter,
and move down the list until you land on "manual". Either way,
once you've typed it in or navigated to it, press Enter to
accept.
  4. At the "Program Name?" prompt, space through the list until
you reach BNB dot exe, and press Enter to accept.
  5. Leave the "Command Line?" prompt blank, and follow all
subsequent prompts.
  6. Once installation of that file is complete, repeat steps
1-5. However, in step 4, choose "US dot BNB dot exe" (without
the quotes) instead of simply BNB dot exe (the second file's
there to determine which version of the Scientific Calculator
chapter (chapter 8) you will have (in your case, you have the one
which lists symbols and numbers in terms of Nemeth, used in the
U.S.)).
  7) Again, while running the second file, leave the "Command
Line?" field blank, and follow all subsequent prompts.
Once you're back up and running, check to see if your User
Guide is there. It should be since these executables install the
manual. Also, hit Backspace with Enter with H for the User
Guide, and press I for the Index, followed by V for "Version".
Make sure the version reflects your model (BrailleNote BT) and
KeySoft version (v5.1).
Have a wonderful day!
