Hi All,

I hope I can describe my problems that seem to be related to memory issues well enough that they can be helpful to those who can make use of the information. I have lost mickey Quinzer's e-mail. If you could assess this information and let me know if it might be helpful and I will forward it on to him.

1. Creating Playlist File
A. I had created a play list file by going back and forth between my ASCII file and the Media file list to be sure that I was copying the file names correctly. After entering several files, I tried playing the list of .mp3 files using the ASCII file I had created. I got an error message stating that it could not open the last file in the list, to check to see that the name was correct. That I did and found no errors. I tried deleting the last file name and trying again. This time it stated that it could not access the "new" last file on my list. What would cause this error? I checked and rechecked my work and I feel sure that it was an ASCII file.

B. I was going back and forth between the ASCII text document that I had opened and the Media file play list to put each of the file names in the list. All was going well until I went to exit the text document at some point. I got the message "The system cannot access the process because it is being used by another process." I didn't copy down the exact error message at the time, and the wording may be slightly different, but the basics are there.

My admiration goes to those who work long and hard enough to track down exactly what they have done. I wasn't making notes of every move I made, but I was spending much time at the task. I quit when the "System could not access the Process..."

2. I also have had problems going to the ACB Radio and playing files. The first time I did it, it worked wonderfully and I was very pleased and impressed with myself and the little box on my lap. After that I lost my touch and could not get it to go. After reading a message about it on this list, I did a reset and tried again. Again, it worked once for me.

I have hesitated to bring things to the list that I have believed were due to my own inexperience, but after reading the memory problems and the details that some have gone through to track them down, I am totally impressed with the knowledge and deadication of those who take time to help us on this list.

Thank you so much,

Joleen
