Tara,

There is a function similar to alt+tab. Each of the different programs have
a fn+(a number 1-9). The only problems is that you need to remember which
number each uses. There is a list of all these in the General section of
the user guide. Here is an example.

I am in Keyword working on a document. I need to switch to email without
closing so I press fn+9. Now I am in Keymail. I check for new messages and
read a few. Now I am ready to go back to Keyword but I want to keep Keymail
open. I press fn+4 and I am back in Keyword with the prompt resuming edit.

I don't remember all the numbers and what they are associated with but I
remember three programs that I like to switch between.

Hope that helps.

Cindy

Hi Tara:

Yes, if you know you won't be writing, I would press Escape and
go to Main Menu. It's a process, but you won't lose your
document. I'm sure sorry this is happening.

Best Regards,
Have a wonderful day!
