Dear list and HumanWare staff,
Since becoming a user of BrailleNote mPower
on September of this year, I've found some
technical information that might help solve
future problems (and to your own benefits):
1. When Eloquence is used with braille
display, there are occasional delays between
command input and execution (this is rather a
confusing term). In general terms, when you
type a command, the speech and/or braille
display (in conjunction with Eloquence
active) will respond slowly than expected.
Mary Ellen, I believe this is what's causing
the leck up.
2. Occasionally, I observed that my mPower
tends to freeze (some of us expressed this)
when a program is run in conjunction with
either Media Player and/or KeyWeb. I've
discovered that the memory usage tends to
increase dramatically when one of these two
programs are run at the same time with other
program(s). (could anybody confirm my
hypothesis?)
These two are the prominent observations that
I've found while using my mPower.
