Thanks for the offer, Hilda, but I did finally manage to copy the most crucial manual files from my classic at work that has the same version she has, and I copied and pasted them into separate emails and sent them from my mPower. She could read them fine, so let's hope that solves her problem until she gets comfortable with the on-board manual.
