Just one quick warning: do not try to get information about the drive with SPACE+I (or QT equivalent). The BN will not respond to anything; it is not frozen, exactly, it is just trying to get the requested info from a huge space. Even my pocket 6Gb HD takes 5-10 minutes to report information. Unplugging the drive will stop the process, and the BN will be back to normal, but it is better to not get into the situation.

Have a great day,
Alex

Don,
Yes, 360 GB will work. If I recall correctly, there was a user
who uses
500GB hard drive with the AC adapter with no problem.

Subject: [Braillenote] hard-drive for Mpower.

Greetings to all, I am thinking of buying a usb hard-drive for my
Mpower. Western Digital seems to be the most favoured make and I
shall certainly look for one of those, but, what is the maximum
capacity the Mpower will handle. I have been offered drives of
up to 360 gigabytes, but will the Mpower be able to deal with
that prodigious capacity? Many thanks for any advice offered.
Don Cooper.
