As far as installation:
It should come already installed. If not, the student should have
a CompactFlash card containing maps, tutorials, manuals, and the
software. To install:
Go to Utilities > install KeySoft Extension (or Application
Program). Select the "none" folder of the CF card, then the GPS
V3.5 (BrailleNote mPower) ((serial number)). (serial number) is
the unit's SN. Install like normal. If, for whatever reason, the
prompt "(file) already exists and is newer than the existing
file" or something like that appears, press ENTER.
After KS7.0, the GPS application is accessed through the
"Navigation" option on the Main Menu; the old G command now opens
the Games option. Hope this helps. Oh, wait! That manual is
either in the Manual folder on the Flash disk or is available
from the GPS menu (if installed). If not, it is in the Manual
folder on the previously mentioned CF card.

Hi all,
I got a call from my old o&m instructor who needs help with the
GPS for her student. The student in question has an mpower bt
running 7.2. I have a few questions.
If you purchase the bn and the gps at the same time, is the gps
already installed into the BrailleNote? The student in question
says he cannot figure out how to access it. If it is not
installed, how do we go about installing it? If it is installed,
how do you access it?
Where, in which drive and which folder, is the gps manual
located?
Any answers that this list can provide will be very greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
