Just a quick thought, try connecting the cable the other way around. This
time, try connecting the cables mentioned to other ports and see what you
can come up with it.

hello, list,

i am sorry to be off topic but i just need some help with my linksys WRT54G
router please post any replys straight to my email address which is.

now my problem. i am using blueyonder/telewest internet service which are
the same company but with 2 names. now when i try to connect 1 lead going
from my modem into the internet port on the router and another lead going
from the router to my ethernet port on my pc. when i try to access the
internet i just get a page saying cannot find server. i have tried to
restart all equipment. i have installed all the software as it mentioned in
the manual.
my modem is a motorola sb 5100. it is a cable modem.

please if someone has any suggestions post directly to my email address as i
don't want to make this list off topic.
please could someone get back to me as soon as possible.
