GUIDELINES FOR A GREAT EMAIL LIST
1. Never, ever apologize for a question or comment! If you send it to the list, it's obviously important to you! The only dumb questions are the ones which aren't asked!
2. The sole purpose of the list is to mutually share, discuss, and respectfully challenge each other's ideas. Personal criticism will not be tolerated! I will always contact writers of inappropriate messages privately!
3. Write clear, concise, and message specific subject lines. Adjust the subject line accordingly if you change the original message thread.
4. Send all personal welcome and thank-you messages directly to their intended reciprients. This simple courtesy adds a special note of thoughtfulness and significantly reduces list clutter.
5. When replying to a previous message, refer back to the original post: "John, i totally disagree with your idea that ***"
6. If an information request has previously been answered,don't resend the information unless you have new knowledge to add.
7. Send all technical questions either to the official BN list or directly to:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
8.
Always separate personal information items and reference links by blank lines so their content can easily be moved and/or edited.
Your joining the list automatically means that you have read, understand,and will abide by these guidelines.
