Jennifer, I am using an 8 GB CF card with my BrailleNote mPower. I am currently using it to store my maps for the GPS program. I am able to have the entire United States including the surrounding islands placed on this particular card with about 1.5 GB left. This is a pretty pricy piece of storage device, but well worth it. I got it as a package from Sendero. I think it is roughly 300. If one were to go the route of a microdrive, which will require 5 volts, which also means it will only work on the PK or the classic, this route is roughly 100. the mPower has a maximum voltage acceptance of 3.3 volts due to power management.
