That sounds like a firewall or similar software problem. The BN
is probably not at fault, but you may want to try looking at any
blocked access atempts on your computer's side. If you see one
whose time matches the time at which you tried to access the
network, add it to the allowed devices so that the firewall knows
to allow a device with that IP address to access the computer. I
do not know what firewall you use, so I cannot give you exact
instructions. Look at your firewall's documentation for further
help on this, and the best of luck.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] accessing network files

hi list,

I tried to do what was listed in a previous message. I tried to
enter my computers name, with and without the backslash, tried my
routers ip address. But when i enter my computer name without
the backslash it took a long time and said please wait on the
braille display. so i have a feeling that something is blocking
the braillenote to accccess the files. Does anyone on this list
know what could be wrong?
I can access the internet and my email without any problems.
Please could someone get back to me as soon as possible.
Chaman
