Hi Eugene:
If you want to save an email to another drive, there are a couple
of ways. Blocking it is one, or, here is the other way. I don't
know what you are using, BT or QT.
BT Commands
1. Open the E-mail or any other document you want to save.
2. Press S chord. You'll see "document has not been modified."
3. Press Backspace twice to get to the "drive" prompt.
4. Press your letter for the Drive you want.
5. Select the folder for the file.
6. At the "file name" prompt, you will see "computer Braille is
required."
7. At this point, press Backspace with X to select your document
type.
8. If you select KeyWord, you can write the file type in grade
two.
9. For BT users, if you select Ascii, or other text document
types, you'll need to write in computer Braille. Press Enter.
10. You'll see "open document after saving?" Press Y for yes.
11. If it was an E-mail you opened, you will be returned to your
E-mail.
Qwerty Commands
1. Open the E-mail or any other document you want to save.
2. Press Ctrl with S. You'll see "document has not been
modified."
3. Press Ctrl with D to get to the "drive" prompt.
4. Press your letter for the Drive you want.
5. Select the folder for the file.
6. At the "file name" prompt, press Ctrl with X to select your
document type.
7. Write in your file name and press Enter.
8. You'll see "open document after saving?" Press Y for yes.
9. If it was an E-mail you opened, you will be returned to your
E-mail.

Subject: [Braillenote] protected and unprotected email files
Hi out there,
I was just welcomed to the BrailleNote list yesterday and
this is my first attempt to have a question answered.
I seem to receive all my emails with their "attachments"
"protected" which makes it impossible for me to clean them
up or change the subject etc. so that I can more
efficiently know what information is in the body of the
letter. Also, if something in the body of an email has text
that I would like to save in a folder either on the
"flashouldisk" or a "flashcard" is there another way to do
it besides blocking it?
Thank you.
Eugene Manfrini
