Nicole,
The best file format that you want to use while attaching a file is Microsoft Word format. I don't know what is causing it, though.
Secondly, there is a way to change this:
1. Go to Format/Layout (SPACE with 2-3-4-f/ful). 2. The first prompt should say something like this: "Indent first line of paragraph: 0 (unchanged)" where 0 is the number of spaces that will indent. Type the number of spaces that you wish to have it indented, and press enter. 3. The second prompt is same prompt, but it relates to the rest of the paragraph. Type the same number of spaces that you wish to indent, and press enter. 4. Press SPACE with E, then press Y to confirm the changes. You are done.

Subject: [Braillenote] Translation and Text
Files

I have a BN BT running 6.11 and am having
two problems. First, whenever I attach a Braille document to an email as an ASCII text file, I get a string
of unwanted characters at the end of the text
file, usually <uªÓ]ãzóкw or something similar. Is there anyway to avoid this? Second, I have indenting
at the beginning of and within a paragraph of
text in a Braille file. Upon translation, I have been able to preserve any indentations within the paragraph,
but my first line of indentation always gets
reformatted. Is there a way to avoid this?
Thanks,
Nicole
