I have a blazer and get along fine using the serial cable. I did report, to this list, some trouble initially, but, as usual, it turned out to be user error.

Some may remember my posts about the misterious "7" at the top of the second copy and subsequent copies. Finally I discovered where that "7" lived. yes, it was about one line from the bottom of the original document. The blazer didn't emboss it with the first embossing but saved it in its buffer for the subsequent copies. I thought I had looked at the bottom of the document, but I did not go up to the prior line, I guess. By turning off the Blazer after each copy, it cleared the buffer, thus the "7" would then disappear.

Now that I am a bit smarter, things are working fine for me with the serial cable.

For those of you who use braille blazers, does the USB parallel cable
work for you when embossing with the bn mpower?

Thanks.

Hello,
I don't know why this cable didn't work for you, I have a Juliet
embosser that I have used, and it works just fine.
I have tried the Bluetake adapter, and it does not work for me, I
can use it for my ink-jet printer, but it will not work for the
embosser.
I hope that whatever is used, that it works well for the person.
