Hi,

Richard Wells wrote: "What screen readers support the use of BrailleNote as a
Braille display?"
JAWS, Window-Eyes, and Hal definitely support the BN Braille Display, although
I'm not sure of the port range on these. I don't
know if, and which, other screen readers support the BrailleNote Braille
display, but I imagine some others do.

"Is it possible to use BrailleNote as an external synthesizer as well?"
Yes - this is the "Remote Synthesizer" option off the "Main Menu". The
BrailleNote acts like an old Keynote Gold Stand-Alone (SA)
speech synthesizer, therefore any screen reader that supports the Keynote Gold
SA will automatically support the BrailleNote, and
vice-versa. See above for a list of compatible screen readers.
