Hello Andrew

I think I have to go back to the drawing board. I was not able to get into
the internet. It was a new account but I did not start using it till now.
The account was activated 3 months ago. My service provider said it was
still active.

Thanks for your reply.

Regards

Marcia

Subject: [Braillenote] Error 10051 - ways to find out what it means

Hi Marcia,

If you have a PC, you can find out what these error numbers mean
(it may also be possible on a BrailleNote, but more complicated). I
opened a command window and typed:

C:\>net helpmsg 10051

and got:

A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network.

so basically it's saying it can't connect to the POP server. You can
also type the number into Google as 10051 and find lots of information
about the error. The next question is exactly what the error means
and what you do next.

Is it just email that doesn't work? Can you browse the web?

regards,

Andy.
