Yes, I do it all the time.

Select "create-" or "open a document" in KeyWord and select the drive and folder. At the "file name?" prompt cycle through the file types until you see "ASCII text file". Now enter your file name, put a .csv extension on it, and press ENTER. Press ENTER again to not review the options (later, press Y here to set the open and save options to line if you have trouble).

Now type, on the first line, all the fields you want in quotes and separated by commas. For example:
"teacher", "subject", "room number"

Now follow that pattern all the way through the file. For example:
"Mr. Smith", "English", "A-19"

If you stray from the pattern and put the room number in the second slot, the room number will end up in the subject field. Good luck.
