Hi Eugene,
I'm going to try and describe exactly where the slider is on an
sd card, so bare with me. When you take the card out of the
mpower, on the right side of the card there is a large groove
sort of thing. The slider is located on this groove. You can
use your fingernail or fingertip to move it back and forth. When
holding the card right after removing it from the mpower, without
turning it in any way, the slider needs to be towards you for the
files to be unprotected. hth
