Hth is short for Hope This Helps.
SSN is Social Security Number, a nine-digit number issued to each
American citizen;

DOB is Date Of Birth
DOD is either Department Of Defence or Date Of Death;

DBT is Duxbury Braille Translator, a program that transcribes
text into properly formatted Braille in various languages and
contexts.

Example: English text (either American or British edition),
French text in an American context (usually grade one French text
with American punctuation), French text in a French context
(grade one or two French text with French punctuation) Nemeth
Mathematical and Scientific Notation and other languages too.

Other abbreviations are:

ROTFL Rolling on the floor laughing;
