hello.
At home i have a linksys router and i have setup 64 bit wep
incription which is a 10 digit wep key. I can use the internet
with no problems and scan for the network.
But at school the network is set to 128 bit wep incription. When
i try to scan for a network i get a message saying no visible
networks. I tried to configure the connection manually by
entering the ssid and all other information that is required. My
friend has a laptop and when he scanned with wifi on his laptop
he found the network straight away, and after entering in the wep
key the internet worked and he could access all his files on the
network. Now i want to know that why does my bn not search for
the network and even when it's manually configured why does it
not work. Everything at home works with no problems at all.
