Stacey,
The BT command is Enter with M. Actually, what happens is that it launches
(opens) Media Player with the recording playing in the background.

Yes, you can write and type.
Go into keyworkd and press the command for playing back the memo.  
qt control shift m.  I don't know the bt command.
