I just hooked a USB keyboard to the Braille note and it works fine! So I am
starting to think that, in some way, the built in keyboard got locked. Is
this possible? How can one undo it?

Hmm... If it is the battery, it's something really strange about it. Just
today I tried powering it on (no response from the keys still) but I hit
Record and it did indeed start recording. I was then actuallya ble to hook
it to my PC and ActiveSync the recording. I am just nervous to hit Reset
because last time I did that, it died a quick death upon doing so.
