Hi, Gordon!
I played around in the Record Options under the Media Menu, then
Setup Options. I adjusted the little things that I thought might
affect the sound of things, and then I went into the FM Radio and
preset my stations. Some will not come in very well in one area,
but may in another. I have about 7 presets, but only about 4, or
maybe 5, come in clearly depending where I am in the city, or
even the direction I have my BrailleNote facing.

hi there,
I have had some problems getting the right reception. I can tune
it to the
right frequency but, the sound is fairly poor. How did you
improve the
sound quality?

Subject: [Braillenote] FM RADIO VOLUME
Hi, Everyone!
Remember a while back when we were talking about the volume of
the FM radio?
Well, I finally figured out that I wasn't using the right
commands for
raising and lowering the volume when trying to listen to the
radio. I was
using the regular volume commands for the BrailleNote speech, and
it finally
dawned on me that there should be another set of commands for the
radio. So,
I went and looked it up, and sure enough, there was, and they
work pretty
well!
Just thought I'd share my excitement with everyone else about the
radio.
Now, I need to get mmy music CD's ripped to MP3 files for playing
on the BN
so I can take them with me when I go to Texas in March. Yippee!
What fun it
is to play with the many options on this machine.
Thanks for listening! <grin
