For what it's worth, I've been having this problem too. It is a relatively new problem because I used to connect to my network pretty quickly. Also, I had this problem at work where I was always able to connect pretty quickly. When I got rid of and reestablished my profile for work, it worked fine. I haven't tried that with my home network, but this is an interesting issue.

I don't know if you are connecting with your pc or not. If so, in your Connectivity, change "shared authentication" to yes, and see if it makes a difference.
