Well, I like my material to lie flat, so I'm not fond of staples or sewing
machine type binding. The 19-hole APH Krebs binders are quite expensive and
those codder pins are hard to use.
The best way to read a braille book iis n a .brf file using the BN.

I usually use three-ringed binders or brads, or staples and paperclips. I
don't do my own binding. I made sure I never had to. Whatever I had to bind
was huge. The automatic binders are large but they're just a footpedal
press away from a perfectly bound book.

I'm a cheapskate. I bought a manual 19-hole binding machine from Office
Depot for $50. The punch works great, but the binding mechanism doesn't
work well with braille paper so I just feed the combs manually through
the paper. This works fine for me because I don't do much binding.

I have a GBC combination 21 or so hole punch and binding machine.
It weighs a ton and when I priced them I was floored at what they
cost.
Other binding options include the hot-melt adhesive bindings and
I suppose other kinds like bookbinders use.
I found getting each and every hole in the paper onto its plastic
ring a tedious job.
Note there are also Spiral bindings and metal Cirlox bindings.
