Walter, I should never do two things at once, because I get myself going in the wrong direction. I hope I told you correct information, but I shouldn't write, and talk to someone else about another BrailleNote issue at the same time, <grin>.

When you are at the Main Menu, press I. A website will be offered. You will press Enter. You will be asked for your "Connection Configurations, and you will press Enter again. Once you are on your web page, you will press Backspace with O. You will see "Internet Options Menu. You will press Enter. You will space down four times, and you will see "Internet File Management." There are three items here that will concern you.

The three items on this sub-menu all involve managing cached files i.e. files that save themselves to your BrailleNote BT:

Clear Cookies.

Cookies are small files that are uploaded to your computer or VoiceNote mPower QT by web pages. They serve a wide range of functions, but they can build up and from time to time, it pays to delete them all. Select this option to do so. You'll do this by pressing Enter, and the word "Clear" will be displayed. You will be back on your web page, so you will need to press Backspace with O again, and space down four times to get to the menu option. Press Enter. This time, you will space twice. "Delete temporary files. Same as with cookies, web pages upload various files to your BrailleNote BT and they build up over time. Select this option to delete them all.

12.8.5.3 Erase browser history. You will see that the "Directory is not empty." You will not be placed back on your web page, but this time, will remain in the Internet File Manager. You will space down three times to get to the Browser History. Press Enter. You will be asked for confirmation that you want to erase this. This clears all of the URL's and files that are listed in KeyWeb's history. Very useful for teachers and students or other people who share equipment, or simply if you end up with a lot of URL's you will never look at again.
The gift of a good friend
is wonderful.
What a privilege to be your friend.
