Hi all,
No, Kathleen, Web Braille is alive and well. It was off-line for
about three weeks last spring, but there was such an outcry, such a
hullabaloo, with individuals and the ACB writing frantic letters to
Frank Curt Sylke, that they restored it faster than they had
intended.
The problem was security. They instituted new features so that they
can be sure that people will download the books and that they , the
books, will remain secure and not be copied to unauthorized people.
