From what I can figure out, it is indeed an mp3 format but has
some kind of tag on it which will only allow it to be played by
the Audible player. I am pretty bummed about this too but I have
been in touch with the people at Audible and they say there is no
way to change their files to regular mp3 format to use in a non
supported player. They do support lots of mp3 players but not
the Braille Note. Maybe Humanware will work something out with
them before too long. It is a great service except who has time
to sit at the computer and listen to a book? I don't like making
CD's of the books either but that is an option too.

DAISY and Audible are separate technologies.
Audible uses a separate player to play its
content. Victor Reader won't work with
this,
since it is designed for DAISY only, not
Audible.
