Dear list,
A few months ago, someone posted a problem
with KeyWeb with the following:
Under some circumstances, the braille display
refuses to scroll backwards on some web
pages. Also, if the display scrolls
backwards, an additional error beep is heard.
I've found what might be wrong: If you try to
scroll backward through the page, and if you
en.ter a heading that is above a link, then
it will refuse to scroll the display. In
some cases, it will generate an error beep,
particularly noticeable when reading
headings.
Try the following:
1. Open a website that you know that has a
lot of links and headings.
2. Read the page normally (from top to
bottom) using braille display. You won't
notice anything.
3. Now read the page backwards from bottom
to top using your braille display. You
should notice that sometimes braille display
will refuse to move backwards and/or generate
an thror beep.
HTH,
Joseph
