Hi, Everyone!
Just thought I'd add my starting impression about
KS7.2.47 to the list!
1. Downloading software/product key: It was a breeze!
Yeah, it took two hours and about ten minutes to
download via dialup, but it was very easy to do.
2. Installing product key/Keysoft software: After
reading and printing the instructions, I did the
install with no trouble at all. As a matter of fact,
installing the Keysoft software was perfectly enjoyable
for me. I had a blast following the instructions and
seeing how well the unit did the job. The instructions
tell you exactly every step and what to look for at any
given time so it made things a lot better when doing it
for the first time. Thank you Humanware for such
excellent instructions!
3. Accessing books through the File Manager: I spent
about two hours this morning going into each book I
downloaded from NLS on Friday, looking at their titles,
checking for sequence numbers, creating folder names
for these books, renaming the different volumes, and
moving these volumes into their respective folder. I
love the File Manager capabilities! They're truly
wonderful! There were twelve books with two to five
volumes apiece! It sure made for an interesting
morning, and quite enjoyable.
I'll be going to a friend's house this evening so I
will be able to play with the wireless cards I
purchased a couple of weeks ago. My service isn't set
up, yet, at home, so it'll be fun, and exciting, to see
just how wireless works! This is really a wonderful
little machine to do so much that I've wanted it to do
with very little trouble. I love my BNQT a lot more
than I did the Type Lite I used to have before! This
machine does so much more than the other ever did!
Again, thanks Humanware for making such a wonderful
little machine that I can carry anywhere with me for
any reason! Now, I need to get the dictionary and the
GPS system for this machine! What a glorious gift to
all blind people to have!
Got to go explore some more! <lol
