Yes, I selected modem from the list of 6682 services.

Don, Tom and list,
ActiveSync and Modem profiles are COMPLETELY separate profiles. Tom, did
you selected Modem from the list of services?

Yeah, I did the same thing. That's why I was
curious about her
comment regarding activesync and bluetooth.

And, from

pairing and all done.
But, to set up the connection with my cell

don't

I did that. I had the BN search for my
phone, and when it found
it, and I
pressed enter, one of the services it showed
as being available to
me was
the modem, so I pressed enter on that option
and was given the
opportunity
to pair with my phone and activate the modem.
Now, if memory

did
choose the ActiveSync option when pairing
with other devices, such
as with
my laptop for synchronization of files and
the planner and the
address
list,
but not with my cell phone to use it as a
modem.

Hi Vicky,
Curious about something. Tom quoted the
instructions he got from
a
post by Rhonda. In that set of instructions
she said to set
activesync to bluetooth. I don't remember
ever doing that or
hearing of a need to. Do you remember if you
did it?
Thanks,
Don
