Hi Joseph,

Thank you for your response to my question. I am glad to know that my
individual unit doesn't have a problem, however, it is common practice for
stereo units which contain a mono speaker to combine, or sum both channels to
the speaker. This is very common with portable radios which have a single
speaker, but provide stereo through the headphones. When listening to the
speaker, you hear a mono signal which contains both audio channels.

By the way, the PK does this correctly. Do you know if Humanware plans to come
out with a hardware fix for this problem?

Thanks

John,
Yes, it is a known issue (somebody brought
this up a few months back). This is because
the internal speaker is mono, compared to
external ones, which are stereo.

that when I am listening to streaming audio,
only one channel of the stereo signal is fed
to the internal speaker. When I plug
headphones in, both channels are there. I
have also noticed this when playing mp3 files
with the media player.
