Sharon! With dial-up on Earthlink, use the entire
email address for username and password. For pop
server, use mail.earthlink.net, and for smtp server,
use smtpauth.earthlink.net Also, say yes to smtp
authentication required. And, use 587 on the smtp port.

I'm assisting a student with connecting her mPower to
an Earthlink
dial up account. I have done everything I can think of

will dial up, connect, and disconnect. It sounds like

that field that says something like "additional modem
configuration".
Any help here would be appreciated. Earthlink is less
than helpful
since they seem to be stuck with doing everything with
a script.
All I've found out have been in the support listings
online.
