Ottawa Canada Dear Loren Wakefield:
I tried looking for your e-mail address and couldn't find it so am replying by the BrailleNote list. Most Braille displays or Braille notetakers will do more than 40 characters per second. You didn't say if you want a single-sided or Interpoint embosser that does better than 40 cps. Later models of the venerable TSI Versapoint were rated at 50 cps and the Juliet Pro from Enabling Technologies in Florida has 60 in its name. May I respectfully recommend that you strongly consider an Interpoint embosser. If you are embossing any sizable amount of Braille, it saves an awful lot of bulk and only consumes half the paper of a single-sided embosser. As Humanware does not sell Braille Embossers, discussion of them is off-topic for this list. Please contact me privately and I will gladly share what I know about embossers with you. My e-mail is: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. I look forward to hearing from you. Brian -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
