Hi:

We poorer folks with only an 18 cell display might like a site name with 18 characters or less.

I like it.
I'll check and see if it is available as a domain?
How would we want the URL to look?
Allthingsbraillenote
All-things-braillenote

Which one is better?

Suggestions?

Scott

Joseph,
I like that name--All Things BrailleNote. What do others think
about that?
It's catchy to me.

Yes, we can have it all on this site. What do you all say?

Sharhonda and list,
I've got to chime in here. I again have a better solution: why
don't
we call this website "All things BrailleNote". Or "Resuming
KeySoft".
On the website, you can upload hardware compatibility list, news
on
BrailleNote family of products, interesting websites related to
BrailleNote, a link to BrailleNote list, and a bunch of
tutorials
created by Scott, Rhonda, me, or any knowledgeable person. I
would
also suggest that there should be a section on Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQ's), user-submited Knowledge Base (KB) articles on
functions related to BrailleNote, and a user-submited reviews on
specific functions on the BrailleNote. I second Sharonhonda's
and
Scott's suggesttions.

Hey everyone,
I am so excited about the ideas that flow on
this list. I think that
we sould decide whose website or server we
will use. Then start
sending someone else the tutorials to
proofread, so that all the work
doesn't fall on one person. Then after they
are proofread and
questions answered, then the tutorial is sent
to the person whose
server/website we use.

As far as a name, maybe we should use
something like BrailleNote
Family. Everyone is definitely welcome to
give their suggestions on
this topic. Let's keep the ideas flowing and
decide whether we want to
use Scott's website or Shane's server.

I wouldn't mind being the person that you
send the tutorials to for
proofreading and such.

I say, ... let's do it!
Sharonda

hey all,
You know, fs has it's Pacmategear link where
people share programs etc that
work with that device.
We could have something similar for the bn.
Certainly, this thing we're discussing could
be the start!

Hi there and list,
I have a better one: why won't we create a dedicated website for
BrailleNote family of products? On this site, one post
reviews,-patible hardware, tutorials, and more. Just a thought,
Regards, Joseph

Hi all,
Since the wind is blowing with great
suggestions, I thought I'd offer
a couple. List tell me what you think.

My first suggestion is that we have a place
with collective tutorials.
We have great people on this list whose
combined knowledge could be
put in one place as we learn more. Than when
new folks come onboard,
they will have a place to learn. And when
some of us "slow learners"
need help, we'll have a reference spot too.

For instance, my issue last week was knowing
how to convert a keyword
file to a Microsoft document. Someone might
not have known this, but
since they had no need for it now, they
discarded it. Later, they'll
be asking the same question as me.

If this list thinks it's a good idea, let me
know how I can gather
information emails and we'll look into a
"knowledge base."

As for my other suggestion, I can't remember,
so I'll write back with that one.
Take care all,
Sharonda with BNBT MPower
