I believe that this just goes to show how badly the KeySoft family needs an experienced product manager. Probably some one who uses the products on a daily bases and hopefully some one who is use to the specific issues of blindness Braille and speech that need daily attention. I don't mean any disrespect to Andy, but it sounds like he is focused on programming--that's a critical job, but it's very different then representing KeySoft to the customers while simultaneously representing customer needs to HW.

Just my 2 cents.

You know, I wasn't even going to comment on all of this, but I agree fully with the recommendation of removing the author of the offending message from the list. This is such a valuable list to so many Humanware customers, and something should finally be done to preserve the integrity and purpose of it's existence. I firmly believe that the majority of the list members try to make worthwhile and useful contributions, and I strenuously object to those members that seek to diminish the value of this list being allowed to remain subscribed. Having said that, I'll just remain hopeful that those that have the authority to do something about all of this will in fact do so. Isaih ----- Original Message -----

Hi Andy,

There is a simpler solution and one that is less time-consuming.
The
individual in question should be banned permanenently from this
list. An
apology doesn't let him off the hook for his incessant off-topic
messages
and foul language. Watching the list for a week is an empty
threat. Please
remove him.

Les

I'm very disappointed. Maybe I should just turn the list off on
weekends.

Offensive language is not allowed.

Requests for people to stay on-topic should not be met with cries
of "You're
not the moderator!".

You should be polite to other users - that includes not filling
up the list
with lots of posts that don't contain anything relevant.

I'm going to be keeping a close eye on the list this week, which
is a shame
because what I'm really supposed to be doing is working on
KeySoft.
