Is there any program that can make mp3 from text files using the same voice
used for the screen reader?

Yes, they can, in fact, there was a whole program on this on Tech Talk
recently, last Monday in fact. I believe that the program is
archived. You may want to search it out. Don't know the URL offhand,
but using google and searching for Tech Talk might produce results
unless somebody else has the URL handy?
