I wonder if this has anything to do with the reason I'm unable to access my email when I'm at a wireless connection away from home. I have cable. Is there any way around this? I guess I could always go on the web to access it but I sure would like to be able to use keymail at hotspots.

Hi:

Another way to find the mac number is to do as follows:

Go to options menu
Go connections
Go to WiFi
Go to search for active networks
On the network you wish to check use chord with i and you can
read the number

Hi there,
I have AT;ANDT Yahoo DSL as my ISP and I
don't have any problems using WiFi at other
locations. Depends on which network you are
using.
Now I know what's going on: DSL and cable use
different methods of communication. Many
WiFi routers are DSL routers and cable modems
does not support it. Cable companies usually
use a computer's MAC address to verify its
connection. There is a way to find out your
MAC address:
1. Go to Main Menu/Utilities/Application
Program.
2. Select KeySoft System Disk/Windows. At
the program prompt, select MAC address
program. Press enter twice.
This should theoretically give you your MAC
address. This is what cable companies use
when identifying your computer.
HTH,
Joseph

Hi:

This interests me as I have not had any
problems with WiFi email
in hot spots save locating which of several
signals may be a non
secured signal.

I an using bellsouth as my service provider
is it that some are
more WiFi friendly than others?
