I can only answer your first question since I do not own a Braillenote.
Image Verification is a big problem for people with a disability, unless
some alternative, like audio verification, is in place. Since the site
you're talking about clearly doesn't have a nonvisual verification
system, I suggest you contact the website and suggest the above
possibilities to them. Otherwise, go and look for a site whereby you can
set up an account without any form of visual verification.
