I will be in a car and a hotel at night so I will not have access to a
printer or fax.

Slery;
One round about way, if you can get access to a printer and fax machine,
is to print your assignments from your bn and fax them to your teacher.

You are wrong as far as email is concerned. My email provider will not
let
me send email outside of my home because of security. It has to do with
the
fact that they cannot control the smtp server of every place that I
visit.

I can download email but not send. Just because you have a wireless
card,
does not mean you have access. There are many other factors.

Cindy
PS Please do not speak for every ISP if you do not have knowledge of
every
ISP. Two of us have already proven you wrong in this matter. You are
more
than welcome to call my ISP and tell them they are wrong. It is Insight
cable. My other ISP did not allow wireless sending either.

Kathleen, Cindy and list,
I have used my unit with an Ambicom WiFi card
on a number of occasions. I have used it in
places such as Starbucks, hotels, and
airports and I can confirm Kathleen's words
that it is in fact ISP-INDEPENDENT. In one
occasion, I was able to send and receive
email through a hotel's WiFi connection.
HTH,
Joseph
