Frankly, I know of no programmers who would be interested in writing
code for interactive fiction style games.
I am  aware that there are individuals still doing it, but let's face
it, there ain't no money in it.

Richard and list,
If anybody knows how to program using Z-code 
language, then that programmer can write 
trivia games.  As to answering questions, it 
might be multiple choice (where the gamer 
enters his or her letter choice and pressing 
enter) or a short answer (where the gamer 
types his or her response and presses enter).  
Another possibility is a chat simulator where 
a program will simulate a chat between a 
computer and a gamer.
