When entering an email address in your address list, Keysoft
prompts you to
use computer Braille. What is the computer Braille keystroke for
the @
sign?
Thanks,

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] undo command
Michele,
It is possible to modify the CE kernel to do that - to implement
undo
function in text. But in files, there is no way, as Recycle Bin
is not
iresent. Recycle Bin does not exist in CE kernel and Windows CE
does not
support it. Flash media does not have that "Recycled" file -
the
reference point for Recycle Bin. This only exists in hard
disks. When a
file is deleted from Flash media, you cannot recover it unless
you've done
a complete backup of the media. If you've deleted a file from a
hard
disk, you can recover it from the Recycle Bin (more
specifccally, from
Recycled folder). Because of these limitations, you cannot
implement undo
function in files, although with some help, undo function in
text can be
implemented, although you'll need to sacrifice performance and
memory
usage.
HTH,
Joseph pddness. Hope it didn't sound too techie for you.

Hi Joseph and others. Is it possible that an
undo function could be
added at some point? I take your point about
the memory size but,
particularly with the Mpower, wouldn't there
be enough memory space. I
know that despite the cautions given at
delete prompts, I have still
rashly gone ahead and deleted things to my
detriment. An undo function
would certainly be useful.
Cheers!
Michele

Tara,
There is no undo function in KeyWord and
other programs in KeySoft. Undo requires
that a conscgerable memory to store clipboard
information.
