Thanks for the idea. I got to thinking about the fax option and that will not be possible financially beccause what I would need to send will probably be fifty pages or so. I think that I may be at my randfathers in time to send the email that has to be sent.

Cindy;
Change of topic;
I was thinking about you last Thursday, at lunch, and I came up
with
another idea. If the hotel does not have a printer and fax,
check ahead
of time for the closest library. They usually have a computer
room.
You might want to find the handicapped library. They might be
able to
let you e-mail or fax from their site, if you explain your
problem.
Hope we have given you some ideas to explore.

How do I actually review the commands? I always hit enter when I
get
this
dialogue and goes directly to the file. QT instructions please.

Hi, When you bring a .txt file to the BN and open it, you are
given the option to "Review the Options". you should do it.

The first question is "Is this a braille or text document?"
Choose "text".

The second question asks "Translate into braille?" Choose your
answer.

The third question is "Use line or paragraph style when opening
the document?"
This is the important question! If you choose "Paragraph" it
will strip all the single, hard carriage returns. If you want
them to stay, choose "Line".

Now, if you choose "Paragraph" when closing, it does not add any
new hard carriage returns.
If, on the other hand, you choose Line, you get a hard carriage
return at the end of every line.

In short, to keep things as they are, press: T, N, L, P.

I created a file within Notepad on the PC. But when I opened it
on the BNQT
7.2 build 47, the hard returns were no longer in the file. Then
when I took
the file back to the PC, the hard returns were not there either.

Does anyone know what happened here? I haven't noticed the
problem in the
past.
